Who I am

I am Sole, born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1982. I have a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires (2007) and a master degree with honors in design management / project management also from the University of Buenos Aires (2013).

 

I have worked as a graphic and web designer for several companies and I have developed extensive experience in media and sports. Among others, from 2010 to 2011 I was responsible for the entire River Plate Soccer Team website (design, maintenance and updating), I also participated in marketing projects for Google Argentina and Disney Argentina.

 

In 2012 I founded my company called SoiaDg, where I manage a variety of projects with a focus on new media, corporate image and graphic interventions.

 

In addition to my experience as a graphic designer, I also have academic experience as a typography and morphology teacher at the University of Buenos Aires.

Other ongoing projects TIENDA SOia 

Since I was a child my passion has been paper and notebooks, in 2012 I studied artisan bookbinding, with the idea of giving my grandfather a very special photo album. Thus was born the desire to learn the screen printing technique in order to be able to apply my designs to the covers of notebooks.

In 2012 SOia “protect your dreams” was born, a project of conscious notebooks and stationery that has grown over the years, sometimes with more strength, sometimes with more breaks. Today the shop offers stationery items (notebooks, diaries, boxes) and also fabric items to contain, transport and protect our treasures.
Today, after two years of study (thanks to the pandemic), I have developed inks of natural origin. Handmade in my workshop, they are composed of pigments extracted from substances of vegetable and mineral origin.
